Colourful blog candy

Elaine is offering some fabby '40th birthday' blog candy, any promarker addict should pay a visit!

My card for Daniel......

My card for Daniel, this is the request from Claire (Daniels Mum)
"Daniel has Aspbergers Syndrome (which was diagnosed only 2 yrs ago). Aspergers is mild Autism where they are unable to socialise and interact socially, making everyday life quite difficult for them.Because of his condition he doesn't have birthday parties as he hasn't a great circle of friends so last year some were kind enough to send Daniel a birthday card. I saved them all and then wrapped up in a box for him to open and he absolutely loved it. I am asking if any of you would like to send Daniel a card." (check out Claire's blog for full details.)
Happy 11th birthday for the 7th November Daniel.

Magnolia Fall stamps.

Has anyone had any experience with this company, when deliveries don't arrive?? I ordered the Fall set ages ago, my credit card has been charged, but the stamps have never arrived. I have emailed them twice and received no responce?? Any suggestions???

22.10.08 UPDATE
I finally received an email, to say the stamps were dispatched 9/9/08. Have requested replacements and - no surprise - no further replies!! So I have given up!! I have been in contact with my credit card company - who were fantastically helpful and are arranging for a full refund. I will not order direct again!
Thanks for all your help and comments - I see I'm not the only one!

Shopping and roast....

Well this is the only day I'll get off in 10! So I thought I would make the most of it......so we spent the morning in Lincoln shopping (that made a hole in the few extra pennies I'll be getting), then took the dogs for a long walk this afternoon (fed the greedy ducks) and then came home and had roast beef, all the trimmings and a bottle of red wine......everything seems great now!!
Then back with a bump tomorrow - through to Thursday. Then I get 3 wonderful days OFF! Perfect!!
Have a fabulous weekend everybody, sorry not done much blog hopping...give me another week and I'll be back!!
Take care.

Well the plumber was due sometime after 5pm today......he turned up at 9.30pm! and is still here at 10.20 pm.
I am so fed up, I really hope he gets it finished and this is the last visit - because I am really FED UP!!
On the plus side - I have been shopping today for new towels etc and I bought the most gorgeous picture for the 'new' bathroom. Oh and yes it's up on the wall - at least that bit is finished!

Sally's blog candy..

Sally is celebrating 11,000 hits with some lovely blog candy here.

Fingers crossed....

After 3/4 hour on the phone to BT the wireless seems to be fixed, however, in true BT fashion - if they actually listened to what I said in the first place, it would have taken 5 mins and I could have done it myself!!!! but hey it's working! So I will be visiting everyone over the next few days!

Anyway, today we took Sam karting at Ancaster! What a fab day, Chris and Sam drove the karts, while I played at being chief photographer - I will post pics tomorrow!

Yesterday, we spent the day at Ingoldmells. We took the dog, went for a very long walk on the beach, then played on the amusements and the boys went on a few rides, while I 'people watched' over a cup of tea with the dog!

Tomorrow, I hardly dare say it - (whisper) the bathroom should be finished! (pleeeease!!)

I am taking Sam into town tomorrow, to get the last few bits before going back at school on Wednesday, I can't believe how quick the holidays have gone!

Wednesday, 27 August 2008

More apologies....

Sorry for the lack of blogging and visiting! We are having the bathroom replaced and everything is upside down. What should have taken 4 days, seems to have extended to nearly 3 weeks and my wireless network is still up the spout!

I spotted these Pro Markers on Jo's blog and had to have some!
They are fab and so quick and easy to use.
I purchased mine from Silly Monkey Crafts.

glitter before using them - I think!

Do any users out there have any advice for using these??
I would love to hear your comments! x
