Quick Merlin update...
He is still on the tablets, but we are reducing the dose to see if he really is any better. We can cheerfully report he is still holding his own!! You can still tell he is an old man with dodgy hips, but he is happy in himself......so fingers crossed he will be with us a little longer!
Thanks for asking Cathy and thank you everyone for your kind words.

Merlin update....
We have got some tablets from the vets, which he only normally has over the winter months, when he is really bad (£1.50 each and 1 a day!!!)
So, I can confirm that he is a lot better at the moment, he is still very slow and obviously still having some difficulty, but he is not in pain! He has also started eating again and having tummy tickles!! so fingers crossed he will be with us for a little longer.
Thank you everyone for your concern and I will keep you posted.

Merlin....
Our gorgeous dog Merlin is not very good at the moment, he has been having difficulty with his back legs for the last month. When I arrived home yesterday he was particularly bad and had partly collasped. We will be keeping a close eye on him for the next few days, but things are not looking good for him. He is 10 years old and has had a great life, I just hope this is not the end.
